Awww hell. Damn Mediatakeout.com.Why did you do this to me? I was cruising around the internet and smh I found my way onto Media Takeout. The story was from a very "reliable" source, that Kim Kardashian called up none other than USHER, and asked him on a date!!!I've never hoped Media Takeout's stories were just mindless, unverified garbage, so much since they said Trey was dating Drew Sidora. NO USHER NO!!!!!Don't do it!!!I mean Kim is a cute girl and all.(PAUSE) But she's not what you need. I love Usher. Seriously, the men I date have to meet the standards of Trey and Usher! Mmm Mmm Mmm. Anyway, I don't believe it. If she had to allegedly call him obviously he wasn't very interested. Let me stop, because I'm so mad that I can't even write about it.(That never happens.)So thank you MTO for ruining my day. I guess(and sincerely hope) that Usher and Kim Khardashian are MTO's couple of the week. What do you guys think?

Back in the Day Thursday!!!!
This week I'm takin ya'll back, back to 2002. This week's "Back in the Day Thursday" is from Lil Flip's 2002 album "Undaground Legend", "This is the Way We Ball". This song take me back to the 8th grade. Back when everybody had "Burberry" or "GUCCI" something or another. When everyone was wearing Timberlands in May(I have no idea why.) This was a time where I was more concerned with boys and sports, and Twitter wasn't even on my radar. Well enjoy this trip down memory lane. I know I did.

ROCK ON!Track of the Day!
This RO!TD is off of Fabolous' new album "Loso's Way" that was released yesterday. This album has caused a lot of hype over the internet in the past 24 hours. I'm a fan of Loso and his many changing names and personas. I must admit that I am a big fan of his new sexy, grown man, swagger. Love it!I found "Last Time"on the "Swagga Like Songz Vol.2" mixtape. I heard it and liked it a lot. Enjoy it! F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S!!HAHA!!ROCK ON!

Video Review Wednesday is Postponed
SMH I REALLY wanted to review Loso's new video for his song "Everything, Everyday, Everywhere". I really like this video and I love the cameo made by my fav guy, Trey Songz. Well, I'm just going to have to post my review later this week. I can't find a video I can embed because Loso's label took them all down due to copyright reasons. Oh well, trust me, if you haven't seen it, it's worth the wait!

TTU Tuesday!!
Since I love my TTU family so much, I decided to give them their own day on my blog. So ladies and gentleman I give you,"TTU Tuesday"!!!!
This week's "TTU" Tuesday is dedicated to Gloria(@MusikHunny) and all my other TTU Treymates that Go Ham for Mr.Trigga Trey Songz! Why is Gloria so special? Well, she got Trey to follow her yesterday. How? Did she GO HAM like you did? She went ham, but not quite like I did. She went ham in a different way. Trey was at a radio station yesterday afternoon doing some promo for his very highly anticipated album "READY",(Due in stores on September 1st.For real this time!lol.Go pre-order it HERE)
Trey being who he is tweeted out the number to the radio station. That's when the Hamfest began. Everytime I called I got a busy signal, as did everyone else. I gave up, mostly because 1)my phone was dying and 2)minutes aren't free. But someone got through to talk to Trey!Who was it?Gloria of course!(Pay attention!)She got through and told him how ham TTU goes for him. She repped TTU when she could've been selfish and did something else. I logged off of Twitter for a moment, and when I came back, Gloria had a follow! So three cheers for Gloria! Hip hip Hoooraay!!Hip hip Hoooraay!!Hip hip Hoooraay!!
This is what TTU is all about. We're more than a class, we're a family. Some people have this notion that we're a nothing but a bunch of groupies. NO WE'RE NOT! We're NOT a cult, groupies, or overzealous fans. We're dedicated supporters. What I find very funny is that Trey even acknowledges us, and even stops by on occasion to talk to us. So haters, don't get mad! He knows who true TTU is and who isn't. How? Troy has a list and he checks it twice! lol.
My TTU family has helped me thorough a lot of things. I'm truely blessed for finding these people that are now a permanent fixture in my life. They always know how to make me smile and laugh until I can't feel my face and on the verge of peeing my pants.lol. I love this group of people with all of my heart. And eventhough we are in different parts of the country we're still closer than friends who live down the street from each other. I love my TTU family!!

ROCK ON! Track of the Day!
Today’s RO!TD is brought to you by Vistoso Bosses featuring Soulja Boy “Delirious”. I listened to it and I fell in love with it, even Soulja Boy’s part. He can rap about things other than money and swag. Actually the only songs by Soulja Boy that I like are the one’s geared to girls. Anyway, this song is addictive and fun. It’s like candy on crack! lol. Check it out and you’ll see what I mean. It’s a pure, sweet, summer track and their fashion sense is so unique. This is a breath of fresh air for the female R & B game. I hope their career lasts longer than the summer. To find out more about Vistoso Bosses, check out their MySpace. Vistoso Bosses Myspace Page ROCK ON!

Gossip Grl Corner-Corny,Repetitive, Sell Out ,Rapper Say WHAT?
So I was surfing around Mediatakeout.com (As I usually do, to stay "informed") and came across this little jewel of a story. Accoroding to a Mediatakout.com reader (READER not SOURCE) Soulja Boy Tell 'Em tells 'em on a black gay chat site. Hmmm.
<---This picture is the supposed proof that Soulja Boy is batting for the other team on the down low. SMH. The reader said that the picture on the right was taken months before Soulja's now "big" famous photo. These pictures do look exactly the same. I have pictures doing the LOL:), does that mean that no one else is doing it?NO. Don't get me wrong, I'm NOT a Soulja boy fan, but even I have to admit that this is ridiculous. This is purely coincidental. I know plenty of guys with a photo like this on MySpace. Come on! This is a way for guys to get female(or male) attention with the only things that most women care about before we meet a guy. This just gets all the initial thoughts out of the way. Now if he made the same face, well then maybe I would believe it, but that's covered up. Again I state that this story came from a reader. Not an inside source in Soulja's camp, a reader, a faithful reader no less. Wake up world! Come on! Readers just want their 30 seconds of fame, while the media scrambles around to see if this story is true. Well the reputable media outlets that is. This is the exact reason why I don't really read the crap on Media Takeout. There's no truth behind it, and they don't try to dig deeper to find it. SMH at another attempt by Media Takeout to ruin a young, successful person's career.SMH. Shame on ya'll.

Real EvoL Talk-It's Bad Boy Baby!
Sean “Diddy” Combs is someone that people are now starting to joke about. Yes, it’s true that Diddy can’t keep a group together long enough for them to reach superstar status, but just listen and maybe after this post you’ll change your mind on how you feel about him.
When Diddy first stepped on to the scene when I was a little kid I was in awe of him. Here was this man that lived the life I wanted to live. Money, fame and Mase was pretty cute to me then too. “Who was this man in the B.I.G. videos, and wearing silver suits that looked like garbage bags?” I asked myself. This was a successful man who came from nothing to build an empire that some people can only dream of coming close to. This man was my hero, my idol. Sean “Diddy” Combs.
I knew from day one that I wanted to be just like “Diddy”. Our names even sounded alike. I actually remixed his hit track “Diddy” to “Vivie” to match my name. Bad Boy, I wanted to be a part of it. With acts like 112 and Mase, how could I go wrong? Diddy is the prime example of hard work and determination. You don’t believe me? Look at the facts. The man is on the Forbes’s list of the richest people in hip hop, almost EVERY year. You can’t tell me that you didn’t have a “Sean John” t-shirt, jacket, headband or anything. You can’t read this and honestly not have appreciated some of the artists that he did put out. You can’t sit here and think or say to yourself that you didn’t want to try “Unforgiveable” or “Unforgiveable Woman”. You can’t say you didn’t watch “Making the Band” 3 and 4!
These things alone make Diddy successful. He’s a mogul. To me he’s more than that, he’s my role model. Some of the things that he’s done go above and beyond the call of hip hop. He could have stayed a producer and CEO but he reached out further than that. So you may not like “Making His Band” but you did watch it, and that’s enough. He’s trying to give people an opportunity, but he’s not going to just hand it to him. This is what’s missing now-a-days. Everyone is so consumed with what they’re getting that no one is giving regular people the opportunity to do things besides be on crappy reality love shows. Diddy is the epitome of success and hard work. I want the honor of interning under him one day, and learning from the best. Actually it’s my dream. I’d be his assistant and run in the freezing rain for cheesecake with no problem, if he would just let me stand around him and learn his formula for success. So lay off of him and don’t knock his hustle, because one day ya’ll are going to see me in his place, taking over the world using his formula.

ROCK ON!Track of the Day!
I was watching the Music Choice hip-hop music channel today, and came across this song. I liked the beat and the lyrics. That’s when it came to me. This is going to be the ROCK ON! Track of the Day. Today’s RO!TD is “What Happened” by Donny Goines off of his debut album “Minute After Midnight”. I heard this song and thought it was new, mostly because they didn’t have any information on him on Music Choice. So I did some research. I’ve come to find out that Donny Goines has been around since 2006. So check him out on his MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/donnygoines, and don’t 4 get 2 ROCK ON!

Real EvoL Talk-NBA Divas Check Your Attitudes at the Door
Me being from Cleveland, I was thoroughly embarrassed to hear that LeBron James and Nike wanted the video of “King” James being dunked on by a college basketball player at one of his basketball camps. Oh my goodness, are you serious? I never liked LeBron and I never will, and this incident has secured my feelings. It just proves everything I’ve said. The world is now starting to see the REAL LeBron. The diva. The crybaby. Don’t get me wrong LeBron has a good little bit of game on him, but his personality is just as ugly as his sneakers. I have no idea why Cleveland worships him. Seriously there’s a huge picture of him on the side of a building downtown. Ugh. So now that that’s been said let me speak my piece.
I was watching TMZ the other night and Harvey Levin mad a very valid point. He said if LeBron and Nike would have just released the tape, there wouldn’t be so much buzz about it. Funny thing is the tape isn’t of the best quality. You can’t tell who is who.But I did manage to find a video with slow motion and a better angle.HAHAHA!!(Watch it below) He got dunked on by a college kid. SO WHAT! Michael Jordan was crossed over by Allen Iverson. Kobe Bryant was beaten by Dwight Howard. (They didn’t win the series but that’s not the point.) Some of the greatest players in the game have been shown up once or twice by the underdogs. Get over it; it’s a way of life. Every time LeBron gets shown up or beaten he throws a temper tantrum and everyone thinks it is shocking and makes it headline news. I swear living in Cleveland; I’ve heard the handshake story and every analysis that the sports casters could come up with, for weeks. No lie.
Speaking of the now infamous handshake incident, let’s speak on that. After the final seconds of the Eastern Conference Finals, LeBron never shook the hands of Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic team. To some people LeBron was hurt and they understood, to people with half a brain he was being a spoiled brat. So what he didn’t win. It wasn’t the first time the Cavaliers lost the conference finals. So what made this time different? His other teammates shook their hands and went on about their night. Why couldn’t he? This isn’t the only incident of LeBron’s poor behavior. Let us not forget after the Championship LeBron was photographed wearing a shirt that said “LBJ MVP”. You couldn’t let Kobe have his moment, huh LeBron? This wasn’t the last apprearence of the “I’m a d-bag” shirts. The next time he was photographed he was wearing a shirt that said “Check My Stats”. Ok LeBron we get it. You were league MVP, but Kobe was the Finals MVP. You know the MVP you STILL haven’t been?
So, what is my point of my semi-rant? My point is that someone close to LeBron or anyone needs to step up and tell him to stop being an a-hole! It’s not cute. LeBron is slowly but surely losing his fan base because he’s forgotten where he’s come from. He used to be a very humble guy, but now he’s gone straight Hollywood. Don’t forget who buys everything you endorse LeBron. I’ll give you a hint, it’s the same people that keep you signed to Nike so you could have a puppet.

ROCK ON!Track of the Day
Twitter and the internet have been abuzz about today’s track. Today’s “ROCK ON!Track of the Day” is “Run This Town” off of Jay-Z’s highly anticipated return album “The Blueprint 3”. I really like Jay-Z and no matter how crazy he is, Kanye West is one fantastic lyricist. No matter what my TTU classmates think about her, I love Rihanna so this song for me has hit the hip-hop tri-fecta. I like this song. The beat goes hard and so do the lyrics. This is the OFFICAIL return of hip hop from the sad state it was in before. So enjoy it as much as I do. ROCK ON! HOVA IS BACK!!

Gossip Grl Corner-St.Lucia Does a Body Good
The first post for the “Gossip Grl Corner”! YAY! Today’s(well actually yesterday’s)post is about Hollywood’s resident hot mess, Amy Winehouse. Now don’t get me wrong I like Amy. Well I like her music. She’s a great singer. I guess what they say bout true artistry is true. We all know how Amy was. She was drinking, smoking, and doing crack like it was going out of style. Amy was close to death, and everyone could see it. She was dying in front of cameras and all we did was just watch.
For the past few months, Amy had disappeared to St. Lucia while she got a divorce from her other train wreck of a husband. Well that trip did Amy some good, because she looks amazing. Well, as amazing that Amy Winehouse can look. I’m proud of her for trying to get her life together. Now that she’s back is she going to be able to keep this up? Or will the flashing lights and stress of stardom push her to the edge again? I’m waiting to see, but I’m rooting for her to succeed. See her amazing transformation below.

Back in the Day Thursday
Again another late post, I’m sorry I’ll be on it better. Promise. Well anyway, the first post for “Back in the Day Thursday” is Bone Thugs-N- Harmony’s “Crossroads”. This video reminds me of my cousin who was killed when he was 14 when I was in 5th grade. We watched this video together and he would hold me close to him because this video scared me. It reminds me that even though those we love are gone they are not forgotten or not in our hearts. That’s why I choose the videos I choose, especially the back in the day tracks. Every song carries a memory and a feeling and I want my reader’s to remember that feeling and memory when they hear a song, just like I do. I’ll share my memories if you share yours. Enjoy this trip down memory lane, I know I did.

Real EvoL Talk-Jumpoffs Learn Your Place!
So the other day some of my Autobots and I came across something that would throw us all in a tizzy, especially Rih (@RockinRihRih she’s a little off though to begin with. I love you Rih!) I decided to investigate what all the noise was about. A girl had posted some things on Twitter that were a bit questionable. She has officially been labeled as Trey Songz’s jump off. Now for those who don’t know what a jump off is, a jump off is a male or female that sleeps with someone. That’s it. They are used just for sex when the other party is in town. You might get dinner.
Back on subject now. Not only did she post a picture of Trey’s signature “YUUUP” written on the wall, but she posted the whole thing on Twitter! SMH. Her tweets are below:
My boo suprised me…didn’t know he was here!!!! Night night ;D 5:48 AM Jul 17th from UberTwitter
@ the diner with @songzyuuup 3:59 PM Jul 17th from UberTwitter
@songzyuuup ice cream and cake and cake. Icecreamncakedodaicecreamncake. Icecreamncakedodaicecreamncake 7:47 PM Jul 17th from UberTwitter
Been laying in this bed all day but now I’m alone, the studio stole my baby.. Csi reruns til its time to go to m2…or til the gonj calls 8:19 PM Jul 17th from UberTwitter
Now it’s really time for me to state my piece. First and foremost what is the first rule of Fight Club? Never talk about Fight Club! The same goes for the groupie/ jump off manual. NEVER talk about your rendezvous! DUH!
She wasn’t allowed to go to the studio? Wow. We’re in the studio with Trey all the time on Ustream and YOU couldn’t come? Wow. His fans have more "boo" status than you!HA! He’s not your boo he just wanted to sex you up. This is a desperate cry for attention from an immature little girl with daddy issues. Seriously, even if Trey was your man he wouldn’t tell us until the album drops. We know him better than you do. You’re a jump off not a girlfriend. You have no boo status, or any type of status. This is a shame that she put all of Trey’s alleged business out there on Front St. Why do I say “alleged” well she’s a 20 year old stripper/”model”. Come on now we all know that strippers aren’t too credible when it comes to celebrities. Trey’s career is finally blowing up and who wouldn’t want to be in that shine. What’s crazy to me is that Trey follows her on Twitter so I know he’s seen it. Trey hasn’t addressed the situation and he probably never will. That’s good because he won’t give the jump off the satisfaction of enjoying what she did. She emailed every online blogger that would listen and print the story. So not only is she putting her and Trey’s business out there, she’s also trying to become famous form it. That’s just disgusting and shameful. I don’t want to give her the satisfaction of glorifying what she did, so I’m not going to post her Twitter or her name and picture. She just killed any chance for me getting with Trey. She gives 20 year olds a bad image now!Well, I bet I know who her hero is. She’s studied from the “Queen of Jump Offs” Karrine Stefans very well. SMH.

ROCK ON! Track of the Day
The “ROCK ON! Track of the Day” is a semi oldie but goodie of our generation. Do ya’ll remember Craig David? He was that good looking British guy that came out with the song about the girl and how he can get her in seven days or something like that. It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Craig. Video Review Wednesday-Remember Me T.I. (feat. Mary J Blige)
This week’s video up for review is T.I.’s new video “Remember Me” featuring Mary J Blige. I feel personally connected to the song with my son’s father/boyfriend type thing in jail. He always makes sure to write me and our son. This video struck a chord within me.The video is based around T.I. in prison. Throughout the video different prisoners are shown looking over what is happening during their absence. One inmate is watching his girlfriend talking and flirting with another man while his daughter is in the doorway watching. Another inmate is shown watching his mother throw his letter away in the garbage. This video shows that some inmates are forgotten and alone and we need to remember them if we truly love them. The beat to this song is amazing, and Mary’s voice just adds to the message.
Jesse Tererro is a very good director. I love some of the videos he’s done. If you aren’t familiar with his name he’s done “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis, “Showstopper” by Danity Kane, “Runaway Love” by Ludacris, and many others. Jesse Terrero makes videos that make a statement and he’s hit another homerun with this one. The video is empty of the cars, and girls, and NuVO that most hip hop videos are based around these days. Instead T.I. is shown rapping in his jail cell, but this video isn’t all about him. Terrero did a good job balancing concept and artist. There was enough of T.I. to let someone watching that it was his video, but that there is a story to tell. I give this video two thumbs up, I love it and think it’s very good. If you don’t believe me check it out below.

Rock ON! Track of the Day
Today I’m popping the “Rock ON! Track of the Day” cherry! Today’s song is brought to us by Jack’s Mannequin. It’s called “Swim”. I dabble a little in Jack’s Mannequin, so I wanted to see what this song was all about. I was on MySpace when I found it. I really like it and it carries a really good message. Also the video is done very well. I like how they made different variations of the word “Swim”. Enjoy it and tell me what you think. ROCK ON!

New Stuff is Coming!! =)
I thought it was time that I started to show you more about me. I know I write a lot about Trey Songz. So I decided to branch out a little bit more. Don’t get me wrong, I will write about Trey, especially since I want to create some hype for his album “Ready” (coming out September 1st. Ha Ha. I just had to plug it!) So, I decided to come up with a few features.
1. Rock ON! Track of the Day-I’ll pick one song that I like from my phone, computer, MySpace, wherever and post either the song or the video.
2. Real EvoL Talk- This is the real part of the blog where I express my thought on things I’ve heard, seen, read, or experienced. This is so I can build a connection to my readers.
3. Back in the Day Thursday- I’ll post a song or video from back in the day and tell you what happened the group/artist
4. Gossip Grl Corner- This feature will address some of the juiciest gossip floating around the internet, TV, Twitter, wherever. Don’t get it twisted. I’m most likely going to talk about why these rumors are ridiculous and untrue.
5. Video Review Wednesday- I’m going to take a new video and review it. Simple as that.
6. Trey Day Monday- I know Trey does this every Monday, but I’m going to post a Trey Songz joint new or old and what I like about it. Then if you love the song too you can post a comment n tell everybody why you love it just as much as I do. Plus who doesn't want Trey Songz on Mundane Monday?!

The Quest for the Follow has Ended
Yesterday was a long day. I only got three hours of sleep after going ham for Trey Songz 4 38 hours straight. I was exhausted. I felt defeated. So I tweeted to my Twitfam that I was going to go to sleep and in my dreams @SongzYuuup will follow me. After failed attempts to go back to sleep, I decided to stay off Twitter instead. My TweetDeck kept going off as usual and I thought nothing of it. I wanted nothing to do with Twitter at the time. I was hurt, and if Trey tweeted my heart would have broken even more. So I stayed away and let my sister use my computer.
While my sister was on my laptop I had a feeling in my gut that something happened. I didn’t know if it was good or bad. So after she was finished, I took my computer back. I brought my Tweetdeck into view. I figured my friends could make me feel better, they always do. As soon as I look at my TweetDeck there’s a tweet there that catches my attention. The tweet said:
MzSongzYuuup “@Ur_AddictionXx and ur dreams did come true!! lol @songzyuuup is followin u now! ur lucky!! i wish that was me :-( “That’s right ladies and gentlemen I did it!! I got the follow!!!
At first I thought she was just jerking my chain. So I rushed to my Twitter page and there it was! There he was! He was there! In my followers box! First I screamed. Then, I was so overwhelmed with feelings of accomplishment, and love, acknowledgement, and so many more emotions, that I started to cry. I was crying like I won an Academy Award. So what was the first thing I did? I sent out a very heartfelt thank you tweet to my TTU family that helped me get the follow, because they believed in me and my dedication. Second thing? I quickly protected my updates. I didn’t do this because I thought I was someone important. I did it because 1)I hate bots following me and 2)I don’t want people to follow me only because Trey is following me. I don’t need people that have no interest in me following me, thinking since he’s following me he’ll follow them in return. I also don’t need anyone hating on me and my mission. Basically, I don’t need the drama. Finally, I thanked Trey Songz for doing such a wonderful thing for me. I received a lot of tweets telling me that they were going to GO HAM and get their follow like me. I inspired people to come up with ways to show Trey how dedicated they are! My TTU family was even grateful; they RT’d a thank you message to Trey that my friend Joni wrote. The message said:
“@songzyuuup thanks for following my gurl and fellow TTU classmate @Ur_AddictionXx u have really made her life! not her day but her life! Lol”
She was right. This was the biggest thing to ever happen to me. I’m so thankful for TTU. They went ham for me so my dream would come true. This isn’t just a victory for me, but for EVERYONE in TTU! (Real TTU only!) So what have I done since he followed me? I didn’t do anything too extreme really. All I did was thank him 1, 000, 000, 000, 0001 times, and sent him a direct message thanking him and asking him how he came across my story. But besides that, it’s pretty much business as usual. I still want him show me some type of Twitter love, but I’m going to stick with the fact that he’s following me in the first place. Dreams do come true if you believe and have good people behind you. It looks like my luck is changing. For the 1, 000, 000, 000, 0002nd time, THANK YOU TREY FOR FOLLOWING ME ON TWITTER!!I love that man more now than before. If that’s even possible! "id:my friend Joni wrote I thanked Trey Songz for doing such a wonderful thing for me. My TTU family were even grateful. They

The Quest for the Follow Cointinues!!
After the initial attempt for a follow didn’t work I decided I would GO HAM and do something else to draw Trey Songz’s attention to the whole chat room situation. How was I going to do this? This was a question that plagued me since I woke up yesterday. After a while I found a way to get my message across while getting all of my friends involved. A retweet! Yes a retweet. I decided to type a message to Trey that told him that I went “Super Ham” and he needed 2 follow me. I even included a link to my blog so he could read, and see the proof of the entire situation.
I sent the initial message at 6:08PM. After that my friends took over. They kept retweeting me like I was famous and I told them they get free stuff if they do! My friend Joniesha (@Joniesha22) seemed to go harder for me than the rest of them. (I love you guys, but Joni went ham 4 your girl!) My message even reached people I didn’t know. They were retweeting me and adding messages about how they read my blog and saw the dedication! This was it! I was being noticed by Trey fans that I didn’t know. Complete strangers noticed and acknowledged that I was TRULY going ham for Trey Songz!! That was my motivation. In my mind I wasn’t doing this just for me anymore, I was doing it for every person that ever showed real dedication to someone and was overlooked for someone else. This became my driving force.
Once my friends stopped retweeting my message I grew discouraged. I sent out numerous amounts of tweets to “rally the troops” up again, to regain that momentum. This proved to be no use. When that failed I took matters into my own hands. I told myself that if I wanted this I had to work harder than everyone else to reach my goal! I started to tweet my message over and over and over. I never stopped. I would take breaks every now and then to do my homework (Hey, I’m a college student!), and rest my hand, but not too long I was back to tweeting. My actual tweets about what I was doing were lost amongst the massive amount of tweets I was sending out. I saw my update count rising with every hit of my enter key. Now at 5:33 AM Friday morning, I’m still going. I’ve been retweeting the same message for exactly 11 hours and 25 minutes, and I’m still going strong. Since I don’t sleep at night and go to bed in the late morning, I will be doing this until I fall asleep at my computer with my screen on Twitter and my finger on enter! He still hasn’t followed me yet, but I have a good feeling that he will!! Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some tweets to attend do. Wish me luck! =)

All That Ham and No Love
On Tuesday I attended class with the rest of my TTU classmates, as we always do on Tuesday, except this Tuesday was different from every other “Troy Taylor Takeover Tuesday”. Why? Well Troy had a special guest, none other than Mr. Trey Songz. We were all excited to see Trey, especially since TTU had him to ourselves and didn’t have to share him with the spammers and groupies. Trey said his hellos and “I love you’s” then Troy shut the camera off. (He doesn’t want to record Trey recording unless Trey says so, or it isn’t for Ready.) I like other thought,”As long as I got to see Trey, I’m good.”But that wasn’t the end of Mr. Songz. As anyone in TTU knows, just because Troy is off camera, doesn’t mean he’s not watching. Trey took advantage of this and quickly types “This is Trey-I will be going live tomorrow.” The whole room went into a frenzy. We all typed frantically begging him not to tweet it so we could have him to ourselves, real fans only. Trey then typed “Oh Im gonna tweet it with yo ol stingy azzes.” This gave me an idea.
I decided I was going to show Trey just how much of a dedicated fan I am. I wanted to show him that I go ham and can back it up. I decided I was going to be the first one in trey’s chat room. How was I going to do this? After he made the announcement I rushed over to Trey’s Ustream and there I sat. Holding my place in the virtual line to get first “cracks” at Trey Songz! I figured I could catch him when he first signs on and tell him my story and how long I’ve been waiting for him, and I’d get a shout out on Twitter or my ultimate goal, a follow. I was dedicated. I even told my fam that I was waiting. They cheered me on! I was determined. I went to sleep and put my computer in sleep mode just so the webpage wouldn’t close.
I woke up at 8am because I had a dream. In my dream I typed in the empty chat room a message to Trey, stating that I’ve been there since he announced he was going live, I was doing it to show how dedicated I was, and I wanted him to follow me because of my dedication. I couldn’t go back to sleep, so I took this as a sign to just go ham and do it, and I did. There it sat a heartfelt message to the man whose voice makes love to my ears and his smile quickens my heartbeat. It sat there for hours up until my friends finally decided to join me later that night. They started to chat amongst themselves and my message scrolled to the tippy top into chat oblivion, never to be seen by its original recipient. So with my message being gone I engaged in conversation with my friends whom I care for dearly.
Then the time came. Trey tweeted he would be there in a few minutes. This was my time. This was my moment. As soon as he hit enter and sent that tweet, people started trickling in. I still kept my hopes up that I was going to make myself heard. My friends were behind me as well. With all this love, I couldn’t lose. 300 people crowded the chat as soon as Trey signed on. Then he showed his beautiful face on the screen, and I was rejuvenated. He said he wouldn’t tweet the link out for 10 minutes. This was my chance. Finally, after over 23 hours I would have my chance! Sadly my screams were drowned out by the roar of people and their stupid questions and requests. After 10 minutes and a special kiss, he tweeted the link to his chat. We went from about 6 people, to 20 people, to 300 people, to 3,000 people. As soon as the people started to flock to the chat I started to cry.I saw my friends trying to get my message across only to be lost among the spam and stupid questions, request, and paragraphs asking for shout outs. To add insult to injury, all the traffic in the room froze my computer numerous times. It was out of control. I was hurt and disappointed. This was something “LOL:-)” couldn’t fix. There I sat quiet as I saw people getting shout outs, MY shout outs, MY shine, MY 15 seconds. I was in here first. I was in here for 24 hours, and these seagulls were getting my attention, hogging him and picking him clean and then leave us alone as soon as they’re done. While his loyal fans (mainly me) get no love, get no shine.
People are probably wondering, why was this so important to me? I’ll tell you. I never got to see him in concert, take a picture with him, get a reply or retweet on Twitter, or even a phone call. This was MY time, MY Trey Day. The day I decided to go as ham as I could go. If I was to get that follow from him it would make me part of a very select group. It would mean that out of the over 200,000 followers he has, he noticed me and chose to follow me because I showed real dedication to him and his music. It would’ve have been my little piece of special. A follow would tell the whole Twitterverse, that he saw that I was special. My friends and fellow TTU classmates saw my desire, and determination for this. They were upset as well. So, did I do all of this just to come back empty handed? Like hell I did! TTU and I won’t let that happen! My friends have pledged that they will help me get the reward I deserve. Some have said that they would even tell Professor Troy and see if he can get anything rolling. Fingers crossed on what is to come today.
*In case you were wondering the final total amount of time I spent in that chat room was 24hours and 6 minutes.*

Ready Has Been Pushed Back...AGAIN!!
Today, I found out some disturbing news Treymates. This was news that hurt me so bad, that LOL :-) couldn't fix. I just found out that the highly anticipated album “Ready” by my man Songz, has been pushed back, yet again!! This sad news came to me via Twitter. We all have waited ever so patiently for August 4th to come. We couldn’t wait. August 4th was going to be like our own Christmas! With its old date only four weeks upon us, we were excited. Some ordered t-shirts, some made websites and Twitter pages, and many countless others marked their calendars, in anticipation of “Ready’s” release. Trey himself even plugged in the date into some of his “Songmixes”.
Trey had an appearance on Bet’s 106 and Park today, when asked when “Ready” was going to drop, Trey simply responded, “In August”. What caused “Ready” to be pushed back? As of right now, no one knows. It could have been Trey and Troy’s decision as perfectionists, and wanting this to be the perfect album to launch Trey to the superstar status that his real fans hold him to. It could have been politics with the label. No one knows as of yet. So most, if not all of TTU are waiting to see if Uncle Troy Taylor goes live to explain the situation of the release date. When is the new date? August 25th, 2009 is the new date chosen for the release. So, maybe this will be more like Christmas since it occurs on the 25th just like Christmas! August 25th, 2009-Christmas for Trey Songz fans.

The Ustream Commandments (The Trey,Troy, and Sammie version)
I’ve been in my fair share of Ustream casts for Trey Songz, Sammie, and Troy Taylor. A good deal of us real fans are very annoyed with the behavior that goes on. So some friends of mine, and I came up with some rules that MUST be followed!
1.NO spamming. Plain and simple. Don’t do it, it’s annoying and we will hate you for it.
2.DO NOT ask if he is single. (You are not here to get a date. Plus, if he wanted us to know his relationship status...HE'D TELL US. He tells us everything else!!)
3.DO NOT ask him to take off his shirt or get naked! (Some of us want to see it but we know how to use our imaginations!)
4.DO NOT ask for shoutouts. (Most likely you won’t get them. And there is nothing to gain from it because he’s going to forget your name!)
5.DO NOT ask for him to sing songs. (He’s a singer! He’s going to sing eventually. He is a person not a jukebox!)
6.DO NOT ask him to play songs. (This is not the radio. If you don’t have the song you’re S.O.L.)
7.DO NOT ask when he’s coming to your town. (If you don’t know you’re not a true fan, and sometimes HE doesn’t know!)
8.DO NOT ask freaky questions! (He’s not your man and it makes us all feel uncomfortable!)
9.DO NOT ask him 2 marry u or have sex with you! (Nobody likes a desperate groupie!)
10.DO NOT ask how big his “EGO” is. (We like to leave things to the imagination. It also makes you look desperate, horny, and dumb!)
11.STOP telling him you love him over and over! (We know, that’s why we’re there! DUH!)
12.When in Trey’s room: STOP saying "Trey got a big uuuuuuuuu knooooooow"(We know!! He made a song about it!)
13.DO NOT ask sex questions! ONLY if the topic is sex. (Most likely it isn’t, so don’t. I have 2 say this more than once because people are retarded!)
14.DO NOT ask the same question 50 times or copy/paste the same question creating a paragraph! ( If you ask and he hasn’t answered…HE DOESN’T CARE TO RESPOND!!)
15.DO NOT give out your Twitter address! (He’s nont going to follow you and neither will we!!)
16.He is NOT trying to read your blog or check your MySpace for your music! Tweet him for that. Leave it out the chat!)
17.He does NOT care that your cousin Ray Ray can sing and wants to get his demo to him!
18.DO NOT ask him to come to your school, church, barbeque, etc. (That’s why they have booking agents! ASK THEM!)
19.DO NOT ask what his tattoos mean or how many he has. (They’re sick of this question as well! If you don’t know…GOOGLE!!)
20.DO NOT get attitude when folks tell you to shut the hell up. Especially if it's more than one person. (YOU DESERVE IT. You’re annoying the hell out of EVERYONE!!)
21.DO NOT give out your phone number so he can call you!(We WILL prank call you and call you an idiot!)
22.If you're in Trey's chat: "FAMOUS" off of ANTICIPATION is NOT about Necole Bitchie!
These rules apply to EVERYONE!! Follow these and Ustream broadcasts will go a lot smoother, and we can all be friends. If you break them we WILL call you out and embarass you! Thank you!

Trey Gets Raw for His Fans
Earlier this morning, my main man Trey Songz tweeted he was going live to talk to his fans for 10 minutes. I along with a lot of other Treymates, flocked to the wrong room. I realized this and went on a frantic search for the right room. I found it with three minutes left. Trey was talking very intimately about us (his fans)! He kissed the camera and logged off. I thought that would be the last we saw him until his next broadcast. Trey received numerous messages about how his faithful flock rushed to the wrong room. So Trey, living up to the reputation that he GOES HAM for his fans, goes live AGAIN, but this time in the room he’s regularly in.
What Trey had to say to his fans was serious, yet short. He was so serious that he paused the chat, and just talked. He said that everyone needed to stop typing and listen. Trey then spoke about how he aspires to be great and legendary. He wants people to remember him. Trey goes on to say that he doesn’t want to be a “regular nigga” like Mario, Omarion, and others. Everything he said was so heartfelt, that it almost brought me to tears. He thanked his fans both new and old, for their support on everything from his first mixtape to Anticipation. Trey also made a point to address that he gives back all the love to his fans that they give him. He also stated that he wanted to make trends, not follow them. He called R Kelly out on this as well. Trey ended the chat by asking his fans to tweet him that they love him, and to start a Trending Topic on Twitter #IAMGREATBECAUSE. Trey Songz loves and GOES HAM for his fans, and that’s why we do.

Feeling a Little Bummed Out?
Today I noticed that a lot of my Treymates were a little down or frustrated. Then I thought to myself. I said “Self?”
Self said “Huh?”
“What makes you feel better when you’re down or frustrated?” That’s when it came to me! Trey Songz, of course, he always does the trick! But not just any Trey Songz song, his soon-to-be summer smash LOL:). This song is so cherry on top of this sundae? Video of our own TTU professor “Uncle” Troy Taylor rocking out to it! So get your water glasses ready and do the dance! Remember, if you’re ever feeling down don’t frown, just LOL:)!!

Drake's "Best I Ever Had" Video,I've Had Better
For my first music video review, I’m reviewing mixtape phenom, Drake’s “Best I ever Had”. We all know who Drake is, and we have all fallen victim to his smooth and interesting rhymes on his mixtape hit “Best I ever Had”. I know I have. So naturally I was very excited to see how the video would be. I then heard that it was directed by Kanye West. Kanye has done some very good videos, so this added to my excitement. I couldn’t wait for the video to come out. I was anxious now. When I got word that the video had premiered, I rushed around to find it. Twitter was abuzz. I finally found the video with help by fellow blogger and Treymate, Sabrina (@thinkin_ONPAPER). She sent me the link to necolebitchie.com, where she saw the video, via Twitter.
I rushed onto the site and found it. “Finally” I told myself. I pressed play and… I was quickly disappointed. The video starts out in an auditorium at the beginning of a basketball game. Then a team of big breasted female basketball players appear. First off their uniforms consist of low cut jerseys and booty short. (Both unrealistic and degrading.) So within the first 30 seconds you see jiggling boobs. Being the music lover I am; I figure it has to get better. No, it doesn’t. The whole focus is on these scantily clad hoochies. (Yes, I went there.)Whether they’re running up the stairs in crop tops and booty shorts, again breasts all in the camera, or them doing “sexy” stretches in the same outfits. In slow motion if I may add. SMH. Then these silly girls want Drake to tell them they’re the best before a game against some big crazy looking girls. Needless to say they get blown out. Drake, being their coach forgot to teach them how to play. He was too concentrated on their stretching. (Gee, I wonder why.) I’m not even going to comment on his timeout “speech”, except for “fail”.
To sum it all up, this video is beyond disappointing. We’ve seen better from Kanye. Since when was he all about booty and breasts? Kanye has had videos that made you think. It may have been “WTF?”, but it still made you think. It was art. Another thing, where was Drake? It was his video after all. You saw Drake rapping very briefly in his coaching office and in a stairwell for only a few seconds before the boobs, I mean the girls showed up. The last and most obvious failure of this video was the concept. “Best I Ever Had” is love song, meant to be played for that special someone. There was no hint of this in the video. Not a single scene portraying anything in the song at all. For me personally the only good part was a very brief cameo made by Mr. Trey Songz.
So in short, because I could go on forever, if you’re a fan of Drake or the song, I don’t suggest watching this video unless you want to hit him for thinking this was good. I know I want to hit him and Kanye, and ask them to pay me for the five minutes of my life I wasted watching this video. Actually it’s 10 minutes, because I had to watch it again to review it. Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” video gets an F for TOTAL FAILURE!!SMH.The video is posted below if you really feel you need to watch it. Don’t disappoint us next time Drizzy.

Remember the Legacy Not the Controversy
WHATS UP LIFERS I HAD TO GET ON HERE AND SAY THIS MJ SOLD 2.6 MILLION RECORDS THIS WEEK IM SICK OF HEARING THE BULLSHIT LETS TALK ABOUT THAT about 3 hours ago from web
HE HAS 25 SONGS ON THE 75 SONG DIGITAL CHART THRILLER SOLD THIS WEEK 167K NOBODYS FUCKING WIT HIM !!!!!!!!!!!! TELL AOL TO REPORT THAT about 3 hours ago from web
These were tweets sent by So So Def president Jermaine “JD” Dupri, leader of the “Lifers” and “Dem Ocean Boys”, or @LTLline to his over 44,000 Twitter followers. These are in regards to all the media coverage on the recent loss of his girl, Janet Jackson’s brother, Michael Jackson. I thought I would share my opinion on this whole thing.
I completely agree with JD! How is it that we are able to mourn and celebrate the legacy of a man that brought us so much joy, then by the end of the weekend start to speculate his life? Michael hasn’t been gone for a week yet and the news and gossip blogs are already going ham on his personal life. Was there a will? Are the kids really his? Who gets what? Was he on drugs? WHO CARES! Those are questions that should only be asked of the Jackson family. Who are we to look into his life? I understand being a fan, but being a fan doesn’t mean we need to know everything. If the family wants us to know they will release such sensitive information. Among the media mess what Michael represented is being lost. Local news stations are even focusing on this garbage. Leave the family be, and let them grieve. Give them space and privacy. Let us true Michael fans miss and remember the King of Pop as he was, and not how the media is trying to make him look. I would like to know what took this musical genius, and overall good person away from his devoted fans just like the next person, but I don’t want to hear it from TMZ or CNN. If your last name isn’t Jackson, I’m not hearing it.
This whole situation about Michael has gone out of control. I understand celebrities wanting to show their respect and give their condolences, but some of them are milking this to get attention and get on TV in hopes of reviving their failed careers. We as a collective fan base are forgetting what drew us to Michael in the first place, the music. Why is it we were focused on the music for four days, and then Monday hits and it’s all about speculation. Credible news stations are interviewing everyone from the nanny, to the waitress at a restaurant that Michael ate a week before he died. (I don’t know if there really is a waitress, but you get what I’m trying to say.) Let’s get a grip America!! Why wasn’t it reported that Michael Jackson sold 2.6 million records this week? 2.6 million! Most artists wish to sell that many records in their career, and Mike did it in ONE WEEK! Where is the news report that Thriller has sold over 160,000 downloads, or that he has not 1, not 2, not 3, but 25 songs on a 75 song music chart this week? When can we get back to the music? That’s what Michael Jackson was about, the music.
No matter what comes out about him, I’m still going to remember him as the man that caused me to fall in love with music. I choose to remember him as the man that was able to captivate you with a song about baby mama drama. (Let’s face it. “Billie Jean” sounds like an episode of Maury.)I'm going to remember the man that I knew would never hurt a child. I will remember when I played “Beat It” when he was acquitted. These are what I’m going to remember about Michael Jackson. These are the things I WILL be telling my now 14 month old son a few years from now, just like my mother told me. I’m going to remember Michael Jackson- the entertainer, philanthropist, inspiration, the MAN and the LEGEND. How will YOU remember him?
